Job Description
Responsibilities:
To improve manufacturing methods and maintain assembly systems
Duties:
- Operate and monitor machinery on the assembly line to ensure smooth operation
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery as needed
- Identify and address any issues with machine operation
- Utilise mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair production machines
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance
- Address electrical issues as they arise to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify areas for improvement in quality, productivity and cost reduction
- Develop and implement modifications to equipment and processes to enhance efficiency and performance
- Continuously evaluate existing processes and practices to identify opportunities for optimisation
- Provide training to operators on the operation and maintenance of automated equipment as needed
- Conduct kerosene washing to remove contaminants from ball bearings, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to quality standards
Diploma in Engineering Field (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Electronics)
Able to work 3 rotating shifts (monthly shift rotation basis)
Morning: 7am – 3pm
Afternoon: 3pm – 11pm
Night: 11pm – 7am
