Engineering Specialist (2nd Grinding)

Responsibilities:

Support and ensure smooth efficient flow of daily production in department and to maintain the quality of the products to meet customer expectation simultaneously.

Duties:

• Coordinate 2nd Grinding schedule parts flow according to Production Planning
• Verify that correct documents, drawings and master bearings are used during the process
• Operating of grinding machines, ensuring good dimension and specification according to engineering drawing
• Operating of finishing machine for polishing the inner and outer ring raceway, ensuring smooth and acuurate surface
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product integrity
• Provide training and guidance to machine operators to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment
• Participate in root cause analysis analysis and problem solving activities to address production issues and improve efficiency
• Maintain and arrange appropriate stock level of tooling and production materials to meet production requirements
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify areas for improvement in quality, productivity and cost reduction

Diploma in Engineering Field (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Electronics)

Able to work 3 rotating shifts (monthly shift rotation basis)
Morning: 7am – 3pm
Afternoon: 3pm – 11pm
Night: 11pm – 7am
